Everything you need for hot lunch on the go — in one box. The Misanbroo Large Insulated Lunch Box & Food Jar arrives as a complete 4-piece kit: a 1200ml or 1500ml vacuum-insulated stainless steel food jar (also a stackable insulated food container), a removable stainless steel inner bowl, a folding stainless steel spork, and a matching insulated lunch bag with adjustable shoulder strap. Most premium insulated lunch boxes for adults are sold without the lunch bag — this set bundles the lot, ready to go from kitchen bench to ute, desk, lecture hall or work site.

Vacuum-insulated 304 food-grade stainless steel keeps food hot for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 12 hours, so it works for a tradie heading out at sunrise, an office lunch, a uni day, or a weekend tramp.

The wide mouth makes it easy to fill from the pot and easy to eat from with a normal spoon — no scraping at narrow openings. The separate stainless steel inner bowl sits inside the main chamber, perfect for keeping a salad or fresh fruit cool while the soup or pasta below stays piping hot. The whole jar packs into the matching insulated lunch bag and is built to live in a work bag, ute, or under a desk without leaks.

Pro tip for the longest insulation

  • For hot food: preheat the empty jar with boiling water for 5 minutes before filling. This extends heat retention up to the full 12 hours.
  • For cold food in summer: pre-freeze the empty jar (or fill with ice water for 5 minutes) before packing your salad or fruit.
  • Care: hand-wash the lid only — the silicone seal degrades in the dishwasher, which causes leaks and loss of insulation over time.
  • Opening: press the air valve on the lid before unscrewing to release the pressure seal.

Yes. The screw lid has a silicone seal designed for saucy curries and soups. Hand-wash the lid only to keep the seal in good condition.
That's a pressure-release air valve. Press it to release the vacuum seal before unscrewing - this stops food from squirting out when you open a hot jar and makes the lid easy to twist.

Yes. The jar, lid, inner bowl and spork are all made from 304 food-grade stainless steel. The lid has a built-in BPA-free silicone sealing ring and a small pressure-release air valve.
No - never put a stainless steel insulated jar in the microwave. Heat the food separately and pour it into the preheated jar.
The jar and inner stainless bowl are top-rack dishwasher safe. Always hand-wash the lid to protect the silicone seal - dishwashing degrades the silicone, which leads to leaks and lost insulation over time.
Preheat the empty jar with boiling water for 5 minutes, drain, then immediately fill with steaming-hot food and seal. This extends heat retention to the full 12 hours.
A 6-layer build: anodic electro-polished interior, 304 food-grade stainless inner liner, resistant inner layer, vacuum insulation chamber, stainless steel outer layer, and a wear-resistant exterior coating in your chosen colour.
1500ml is 16cm tall and 15.5cm wide. 1200ml is 13.5cm tall and 15.5cm wide. Both fit inside the included matching lunch bag and inside most adult work bags.
